Eating simple and clean since returning from vacay! chicken, sautéed peppers and onion, avocado and a li’l spicy smoked Parmesan dip made from Greek yogurt on the side :P
A bunch of 20-something’s hitting the gym and then promptly taking advantage of what’s left of BBQ season in Toronto (and our proximity to the Trinity Bellwoods Farmer’s Market and Nadege patisserie)!
My nutrition’s actually been really good this week. A couple of minor froyo-related incidents, sure, but dinner last night was mixed greens with red quinoa, a free-range turkey burger patty, sauteed peppers and organic tomato sauce. I like my food in piles - can you tell?

So Nick and I had a friend staying with us for a couple of weeks last month, and as a thank you, guess what he got us? a CAST IRON SKILLET!!! How sick is that!?
I immediately (like, literally, right away) started chopping up vegetables to cook in it.
I ate them out of my favourite hand-made bowl from St. Jacob’s and may or may not have had a small piece of green onion potato toast with salmon cream cheese and tomato while I waited for the veggies to cook.
Woot! What a great night :)
