I think I made the most of the conference breakfast buffet. Couple of hardboiled eggs, half a grapefruit and some cream of wheat. Not oatmeal, I know, but cream of wheat makes me feel like I’m at home and my mom made my breakfast for me, which is a good feeling going into the panel presentation my research team is giving this morning. go team :)
Note: they posted the nutritional information for a 6oz ladle - 80 calories; 0g fat; 16g carbs (0g sugar; 9g fibre); 2g protein… is this true? that’s kind of awesome… obviously it’s like the anti-paleo breakfast, but delicious + fibre with so little carbs overall and no sugar? … I like it.
I made some bad food choices yesterday*, so today (and forevermore!) is gonna be good. Li’l spring mix, half a grapefruit and a single, perfect, organic poached egg.
*I’m a big fan of accountability, but I’m not sure I can post what I ate last night without feeling sick, thanks in equal parts to indigestion and shame.
Edit: let’s just say it started with “Mc” (as if that’s not bad enough) and ended with “Flurry”. Special Edition Cadbury Creme Egg. Ugh.
