When I hopped on my bike this morning and started to pedal westbound from the city, my intentions were no more ambitious than to get out of the house, Instagram some ducks, and relax. It wasn’t until I passed the Welcome to Oakville sign that I started to think through the distance to get home. I stopped for a coffee break (yesterday was leg day - silly) and when I started out again, realized within a couple of blocks that my back tire was completely flat. Not gonna lie - I wasn’t disappointed. Sent out an S.O.S. for a ride home and crushed a delicious fish sandwich in the meantime.

A successful Sunday morning :)

My “cheat meals” (though I prefer to call them “balance meals”) are way cleaner than they used to be. A Dark ‘n’ Stormy (rum and ginger beer), corn on the cob, mashed sweet potato with almond milk and a crab cake. dessert was home made chocolate (coconut oil, organic cacao, agave, vanilla and salt) :)

BBQ last night - literally the best filet mignon ever, plus red wine and local veggies and fun people and (oh yes) cheesecake. Good way to finish up a pretty relaxed weekend of sunshine and biking and patio sitting :)

side note: Syntha 6 is by far the most delicious whey on the market. hardly an iso (up to 15g carbs per serving), the chocolate peanut butter may as well be dessert.
