HIIT 1.5 miles (Grad Cake Edition)
Up and at ‘em at 5:45am this morning - not happy about it, but promised myself no snoozing since I’ve literally got a plane to catch (Vegas!) and I had a piece of cake yesterday to celebrate my little brother’s convocation.
So, I pushed through 1min intervals at 9 mph (x6). I walked at 3.5 mph between each (as per Rich's suggestion) but after the 3rd interval, upped the rest period to 75 seconds. Maybe I could have done 4 intervals with only a minute rest, but today I wanted 6.
I was too hungry to snap a photo of my breakfast, but I scrambled some eggs (two whole eggs + 1/2 cup whites) with a tablespoon of that wild leek pesto I picked up from the market. Tasty stuff.
Now for some last minute packing and then off to the airport :)
